Handbrake Mercedes?

Is it possible to adjust the handbrake on a mercedes vito 108D? When we pull up the lever the van still moves can we DIY or is it a garage job?

you need to back off the cable adjustor, then remove 1 wheel bolt from each side. jack up the rear end. if you shine a torch in the bolthole and turn the wheel, you will see a cog. turn this with a screwdriver untill the wheek locks, then back off 4 clicks. readjust the cable, job done
