I broke the key to the ignition on my vito 108 van,have had a new key but before i got it i thought it wise to pull out the barrel to see if i could start it without the key how do i get my van to start without having to get a whole new ignition system???
you dont the key has a microchip in it that has to read by the engine ecu when it is in the ignition barrel if you get a new key you have to either swop the microchip over to the new key or get the new key microchip tuned into the vehicle ecu
