E4 Problem?

Hi, can anyone out there please tell me what E4 means. I am having problems using my dishwasher, everytime I turn it on it beeps E4 and the dishwasher does on start. I have checked connections and pressure is fine. Also next to the salt sign there is a red light and I have topped it up with some slat but light is still on. Thanks

Hi Jang, E4 is a draining fault.Either your drain is blocked or the drain pump is jammed.I would assume the latter.Depending on the model, the pump is usually at the front.Some have one screw holding it.Most either pull or twist and pull.
