Outpost Firewall and MSN Messenger voice problems?

I am having problems getting a voice returned with messenger. I am operateing XP with the built in firewall off. I use Outpost and have tried shutting it down when useing messenger. Everything else works in messenger except the other person's voice.

Are you using a router? Some routers use NAT IP which may not be compatible with your service provider. In this case go to www.realtunnel.com and download a free program which has worked for people with similar problem.

Have you tried talking to more than one person? It could be that the other person's Firewall is causing the problem. (Don't assume the problem is you hearing their voice, it could be that the problem is them transmitting the voice.)
