Cx3200 just stopped some time back and shows error msg "Printer error .................See your documentation and call service.
Have tried just about everything, dismantled it twice - still the same message.
Does anyone know the real answer? Have read all the stuff on Fixya, Mend your own .... etc, but no joy. Can ANYONE help for I'm reluctant to throw away a good all-rounder for which I have a very large supply of ink!

Epson have enforced shut down, simply go to http://www.ssclg.com/epsone.shtml
after installing program run it at first glance it looks like it has not worked ... Goto main menu this can be accessed by right clicking on the application icon located in tray.

Hello Ray, I have the same error message in my CX3200 having just bought a new supply of 10 black and 10 colour inks. Have you been able to repair your printer? if so what do I need to do to fix mine.

according to Epson certain internal parts have reached the end of their service life and need replacing and only Epson build this enforced service interval into their software
