Mend Vauxhall Astra Work Lock

centre brake light failed mot ?

Hi
I have an astra van and it failed its mot because the rear centre brake light doesnt work?
However it does work but only when i lock the doors ?
Does anybody know how i can fix it so it works with the brakes ?

hi mate. i used to be a MOT tester and your van shouldnt have failed the MOT on the third brake light, by law you only need to have the standard 2 lights working.
