Mend Singer Sewing Machine Thread

Singer 786 won't sew at all!!?

My old singer 786 sewing machine has stopped sewing altogether. The bottom thread just snaps before making even one stitch! Can anyone help please!?

Sounds like the machine has gone out of time, yoiu also need to check the bottom gears, if you e-mail me I will attach timing instructions but remind me of your model.
