how to fix spark on hayter 41 push lawnmower?

Basically 3 things ;-

1) Replace spark plug
2) Check STOP wire is not shorting to ground.
3) If both the above check out, replace the coil (assuming it's not ancient enough to have points - if so drop me a line - can fix them permanently).
