Mend Briggs & Stratton 28R707 Riding Mower Engine

Tractor Doesn't Start?

I have a riding mower with a 12 hp Briggs/Stratton engine. Model 28R707. The engine will not start. Starter seems to turn motor fast enough.

Steps taken so far: New gas; spark to plug is good; clean air filter; relays check good; battery fully charged.

Mower is 3 years old.

Suggest you drain carb float chamber (unscrew bowl nut). Chances are it has water in it.
