How can I fix my camera urgently?

Please help! I need my camera for tomorrow and what is wrong with it is the screen is just black, when you click on the power is on but then it just says 'please turn power on and off' it will not let me take any pictures please help! The camera is sony and the mega pixels i think is 7.1 please help urgently.
