Mend Kenmore 82370120 Washer Motor Agitate

Kenmore series 70 washer. Will not aggitate or drain water?

Kenmore series 70 washer, model 82370120. Will not aggitate or drain water. Motor is running. Timer went through cycles but water was still in tub along with soapy water. Is this a belt? If so, is it easy to replace?

Hello,

If the washer motor is running and it won't wash or spin, I would check out the belt. This is not a particularly easy job as the transmission must be dropped to replace the belt.
