Mend Masport Engine Fuel Spark Plug

Engine Keeps Cutting Out after 2-3 minutes after starting?

My MASPORT petrol mower has just started to cut-out by itself after only being used / started for 2 to 3 minutes..!
The engine sounds perfect but i cannot diagonose why this keeps happening....is it a fuel problem?
is it a spark plug problem?
is it a problem with the fuel mixture?
I would really appreicate any assistance to sort out this minor but annoying problem!

My mower cut out like this repeatedly....until I put a new spark plug in. Now it's fine. (The old plug was about 5 years old so no doubt past its best)

If the fuel cap is not blocked, it's possible you have a faulty igntion coil.

remove fuel filler cap,possible the vent hole is blocked.if engine runs beyond 3/4 mins u found it,cheap and easy place to start looking.
