Mend Myson Apollo Boiler Heating Overheat

my apolo myson boiler sometimes does not light?

my apolo myson boiler sometimes works and then stops. I think it's my overheat stat. There is plenty of water in the tank in the loft. If I tap the boiler it sometimes comes on?
