vaillant VUW 242e locked out?

as soon as boiler is switched on it goes to lock out immediately, pump runs, green light on, orange heating demand light on - checked everything, there is continuity across overheat stat, gas is present, water pressure ok, changed PCB - worked for about a day and gone back to same fault
