Mend Bosch Start Switch Motor

bosch table saw keeps blowing fuse on start up why?

When switched on my Bosch table saw blows its fuse can anybody tell me why. I have tried bypassing the switch and the fuse still blows so it must be the motor? have take to pieces but no obvious signs of damage an help greatly appreciated thanks Kev

I had a similar problem. The motor races and then blows a fuse. I replaced the speed control, which is a small printed circuit board housed inside the motor housing. Check it out, and good luck
