Mend Creda W220VW Water Washing Fill

cold water wont go in creda w220vw washing machine?

Ive just put new bearings and seal in our washing machine but now the cold water wont go in to fill through the pipe in the back. The water is getting to the machine ok which makes me think ive not put something back right, or somethings broke. There looks like a valve or some kind of solanoid that lets the water in through the back, could this be at fault, even though it was working before i put the bearings in?
