Mend Hotpoint WM64 Washing Machine Spin Trips

hotpoint aquarius wm64 washing machine?

as soon as i set it to run any program, even spin cycle, it trips out my RCD on my electrical board. Any Ideas?

dissconect plug from socket, then dissconect washing machine motor block connector,situated under lid,,then plug mains back into wall socket, switch mahine on to any prog,,if elecs dont trip it wil be carbon brushs in the motor or the motor it self

your machine has a short circuit to earth. check for loose or damaged wires especially close to the machine casing.
