i had the same problem, googled it and this page was returned. i checked the filter and waste hoses for blocks but found nothing. then i laid the machine down and found a bit of plastic under it that had obviously broken off something. at first i couldn't find where it come from but upon closer inspection i found it. theres a little plastic arm thing with an oblong knob on the end of it, i pulled it out and the knob fitted into the hole in the broken plastic piece. i turned it sideways so the arm would stay connected to the broken piece and stuck the broken piece onto a larger piece of plastic behind the arm. problem solved, machine now spins again.
i disconnected all the hoses and the power before messing around under the machine. i also only used masking tape to stick the plastic peices together again as i was desperate to get the machine going and thats all i had. i used a lot of tape to make it secure but not enough to stop the arm rotating above it as i suspect it does. it probably won't last and i wouldn't recommend it but its fine for a quick fix.
by now the original poster would have fixed her machine or have a new one but maybe this post will help someone else. :)
