Mend Sentrol 9800 Security System Keypad

I need help identifying my alarm and translating error codes?

Our alarm system was installed by previous owner at least 10 years ago. We have no manual but it says MEB on bell box and 9800 on keypad. System has stopped arming, instead get code RT and if try to reset using Clear key and alarm PIN, get code C6 changing to RR or U2. What's going on?

rt = Illegal use of keypad (Excess number of key presses)
rr = Total Power Failure (Engineer reset required)
u2 = User access number (whoever has user code No.2) > caused rt
c6 = Detector circuit open (The circuit that activated the alarm)
