I have a Ford 6000cd radio/cd player, but when tuned to the radio it plays normally for about 5 minutes then begins to fade and eventually all you can hear is interference. Turn it off for a few minutes and it will work again - but only for a few minutes.
Its driving me mad. And my kids are refusing to travel with me if I don't get it fixed.
Please, please can someone help me???
This is a common problem. I have had mine fixed once and it has now done it again and no-one can repair it this time.
Probably easiest to buy a cheapo replacement from ebay.
