How can i get my car cassette player to work?

I have an Xreg Vauxhall Astr. It has a radio cassette player. Both were working great until one day I went into a shop with kids in car, returned 2 minutes later to find that the radio now works but the cassette doesnt. Cant seem to resolve this. My daughter touched the buttons on it but I have no idea which ones and how to make it work.
