How do I enter an unlocking code in a Ford KA 5000 RDS?
How do I enter an unlocking code in a Ford KA 5000 RDS radio cassette player.
The serial number is M024058 and the code I have been given to enter is 3262
The instructions I have been given for entering the unlocking code is:-
1. Switch unit on
2. Press preset 1 until 3 is on screen
3. Press preset 2 until 2 is on screen
4. Press preset 3 until 6 is on screen
5. Press preset 4 until 2 is on screen
6. Press preset 5 to accept
at this point when I press preset 5 I get the "wait " countdown message come up . 30 minutes later after the countdown has finished it is still locked.
Can someone please tell me if I have been given the right code. If so am i entering it correctly. I would be so appreciative if you can help me before I have a nervous breakdown!!!
