potterson boiler not working?

i am having a problem where i have very little hot water coming from the potterson boiler the flames come on but no hot water at times ?

IF U HAVE A HOT WATER HEAT EXCHANGER PLATE (COMBI BOILER- INSTANT HOT WATER) THE PLATE MAY BE FULL OF LIMESCALE N RUBISH BLOCKING THE ACCESS OF HOT WATER TO COME OUT OF THE BOILER MEANING LESS WATER FROM THE TAP AND U MAY SUMTIMES MITE NOT GET INSTANT HOTWATER DUE TO THE COOLIN OF WATER IN THE PIPEWORK, TO CONCLUDE IT CAN BE UR HOT WATER HEAT EXCHANGER IN UR BOILER OR JUS RUBISH AND LIMESCALE IN UR PIPEWORK.
