How can I tell if my firewall is working?

I have Zone Alarm. As far as I can tell it is working properly. How can I check if I am protected?

right click on the internet connection icon and you will see the word status then press it, now you see the word properties, and now you can check if your firewall is working on the advance menu !

You can use this web site to test your Firewall. http://www.grc.com
If Zone Alarm is configured properly, it should pass the test.

Go to here http://www.grc.com and click on all the links to "Shields Up"
