Mend Braun 5550 Electric Power Checked

How can I fix my electric shaver Braun 5550?

My shaver will not take in any power. It is in excellent condition otherwise.
It has never been damaged or dropped etc.
I have checked power point,plug and fuse,these are all okay.
There may be a secret catch or something to open the shaver but I can't find it.
Thank you for your help.

If you still need advice you can call me, Im an authorised Braun agent and know the 5550 shaver well. Does any of the lcd battery dispalay work? is just the green light?
