Mend Peugeot 306 Help

The fans won't go off!?

Can any one help... The radiator fans on our w reg peugeot 306 just don't stop when the car has been switched off....for hours!!! I disconnected the battery, that worked, but when I connect it again the next day they kick in straight away... help please?

It sounds as though the thermoswitch has gone, which is normally located on the side of the radiator, you just need to replace this.
