I have a Delta 422 Simpson washing machine, when in spin cycle, it goes through the cycle, but the washer bowl does not move, and the clothes are still wet when spin cycle finishes
Same problem with my 422 - no spin. Bob the fixer is right, it was the spin solenoid burnt out. Easy access through bottom, and only 2 bolts and 2 wires to remove solenoid. Now to find a replacement!!

There is a solenoid that pulls a lever to activate the spin operation check that the lever moves freely. Pull plug remove rear panel, solenoid is mounted at the front of the mechanism. Check that solenoid is becoming energised by timer. If not timer could be defective or wire loose. Check that the solenoid is not open circuit.
