what does error code 3 mean on my hoover AL 130?

it means that there is a blockage when the machine empties the grey/ dirty water, check waste outlet is not blocked, as i have a dog and found that the watse outlet was full/blocked with dog hairs. disconnect grey water outlet and drain into a bowl, if your'e outlet goes into the waste pipe of your sink then check no blocks, then check filter at the front of machine by removing bottom cover and unscrewing plug and check for debris, buttons hair etc... then replace and refit everything, but please remember to switch off at mains and remove plug before attempting repairs.
