AEG 16810 Fault?

Please can someone help? I have an AEG 16810 Washer/Drier which does not work at all. Here's what happens: When any program is selected and you press the start button, the unit begins it's drain cycle but shuts off after only a couple of seconds. Nothing else happens and no error codes are displayed. I have cleaned the removable filter (not that it needed cleaning as it was more or less clear anyway). I have checked that the hose is not blocked. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Paul.
