in reality these washing machine controllers should never fail, they are electronic components yet ask anyone who owns a modern washing machine and they will likely have exactly the same problem as you or a similar one, they are designed to fail basically and they make money from you buying another or buying a spare part or taking out their warranty next time round, it's a big scam which is industry wide sadly. You'll just have to keep moving it manually until someone develops an honest machine for us all. Good luck
