my gl36 pro form monitor/maybe battery is not working how can i fix it?

Is there a way to fix the monitor or is the problem just replacing a battery if there is a battery

It is easy to replace the batteries. On the underside of the console (bottom half), there is a battery tray secured by a single screw. Remove the screw, slide the tray down, and replace the four size-D 1.4v batteries. The manual can be found at http://www.iconservice.com/pdf/283120.pdf .
