How can I mend my PC's RWCombo-DVD player-CD recorder?

I can't open normally my Samsung Combo to insert a disk. Once I force it with a screwdriver or something like this, it works good.

If your COMBO tray is coming out when pressing the power button of your COMBO, then it is the problem of rubber band that is used to scroll the tray in and out. It should be tight. So use a screwdriver and carefully disassemble the COMBO. Change the rubber band of the same size and assemble it again.

I presume it doesn't open with the button on the unit? Does it open if you use Windows Explorer? If you are unsure - Open Explorer, click my computer and then right click on the D (or whatever) drive. There is an eject option which may work if it is the drive button which doesn't work. A new drive isn't too expensive though ;-)
