Mend Poulan Wild Thing 18" Down Chain Bar

how do i tighten down chain bar?

when replacing the chain on my wild thing chains saw there are 2 bolts and a tension screw when i tighten the 2 bolts down tight chain won't operate what am i doing wrong? the saw is a poulan wild thing 18" chain saw
