Mend GE ARTICA Refrigerator Freezer Temperature

GE ARTICA SIDE BY SIDE - FREEZER TOO WARM - OUTSIDE HOT?

I have a GE Artica Side by Side fridge and the freezer is getting warmer. It goes up to 17-18 and then back down to -1 and then back up. Also, the strip of door between the freezer door and fridge door is very hot to the touch. How can I fix this without calling a repair man. The fridge is only seven years old.
