My Zanussi refrigerator freezer model no. ZK87/46EF(S) has a fault. The fridge light comes on and the fan is still working, but the freezer has lost all temperature and the temperature warning alarm keeps sounding. Could this be a thermostat problem as the alarm is still going or could it be a gas leak problem and is it worthwhile repairing.
if its a frost free appliance defrost with both fridge and freezer door open for 24hrs and then switch it back on and see what happens.if it starts up and still has no cooling then suspect compressor/gas which is not cheap to repair.hope this helps you decide
