How can I fix my headphones?

Well back in December 2004 I bought some new headphones that I thought where pretty good, but now the right ear is completely dead and no sound will come out of it. How can I fix this ?

check the connections, they will most likely need re-soldered. it might mean cutting the cable a teeny bit shorter. but it will be a broken connectiona at one end or the other
