Hoover nextra 2126 will not fill properly?

The machine refuses to fill to the correct level (it seems to need another 8 litres) any ideas what to look at please?

blocked pressure vessell, there is a plastic vessel connected to your drum or sump hose , with a rubber tube going up to a round switch. take vessel off and clear blockage.if no blockage next thing to do is replace preesure switch.
