How can I fix my Maytag heavy duty large capacity washing machine?

My Maytag heavy duty large capacity washing machine will fill with water and go through the wash cycle, but it will not drain and go through the rinse and spins cycles. It was working part of the time on the regular cycle and not at all on the permanet press cycle and now it will not drain on either cycle.

Hello,

The first thing I would check is the drain hose. If it is clogged and the washer can't drain out it won't spin neither. Sometimes small clothing gets caught up in the hose or pump.
