Mend Gilera Starts Rev Revs

gilera dies!?

its starts perfect.. but as you rev it, it gets to a certain point were it loses its revs and dies.. but if you take off the throttle during this, the revs will come back to normal. as it is cutting out it will also backfire. please help!

yea my gilera runner 180 dose the same thing.getting a new carb.my hole bikes fresh but the carb that explains it.

Thanks Rich, yea i think thats the problem, i checked the jet and carbs and there fine so im gonna get myself a new plug!

is your spark plug in all the way,my DNA used to do this. you may need to change your spark plug also.
