Gilera Surfer Revs once then dies?

well as bb says its either na fuel problem like fuel flow or carburation or the spark is dissapearing,check the spark to see if its gone just after it cuts out by removing it and putting the ht cap back on the top of the plug and resting it on the cylinder head then kick it and see if the plug sparks if it does then the problem is fuel/carburation.

its the surfer tt... its been sat still for a while now before i bought it. ill try the carb see if thats where the problem is, the kick feels normal nothings sounding wrong either. all standard parts, and new plug in already. ill check carb cheers

Ok is it the RX?
Is the kick start nice and smooth has it changed any in its feel. Not getting a bit stiff when you push down?
First thing I would do would be strip your carb down and see if there is any water in it. I would then pop a new plug in and air filter.
Is it standard or have you added any trick bits of late. Was it running fine before and when did it start to happen?
