what is it?

when starting my renault megane 1.4 a whirring & clicking noise is heard for about 20seconds??

Renault Renault Megane 1.4 Vehicles, Cars Renault Megane Starting Noise

The clicking noise you hear could be from your heater! This is caused by a flap within the heater which jams. You shouldn't hear the clicking if you put it onto circulate the air flow in the car.... but as soon as you put the heater back on it will click again!!
