Mend Kenmore Dryer Belt

My dryer will not tumble?

I am assuming the belt broke on the dryer to make it tumble, but I can't figure out how to get to it? I took off the back pannel but it seems to be somewhere else? I have a Kenmore heavy duty 70 series.

Hello,

What is the model number? If your lint screen is accessed from the top of the dryer you have to flip the door open and remove the 2 screws. Then place a putty knife between the top and front panels and push in on the 2 clips to lift the top. Once the top is raised you should see 2 screws inside the front panel that will get the front panel off. Now you can access the belt.
