go to the auto parts store. get another serpinetine belt. ask them if they also rent the tool. make a drawing of the path the belt winds around the engine, if you dont already have a drawing. find the spring loaded part along the path that holds
the tension on the belt. loosen that part. use the tool to take pressure off the old belt, slip off the old belt. slip on the new belt, along the same path. use the tool to hold back the spring loaded part until you get the belt on. release the pressure on the tool & spring. the tension should be back on the belt. your done
