Hotpoint Ultima Extra wt741 softener drawer won't drain?
My Hotpoint Ultima Extra WT741 washing machine softener drawer won't drain. I have washed it all out & cleaned it yet it still won't drain. At the end of the wash the softener is still there along with some water. Can anyone help?
remove drawer and look upwards to where the water comes in, you will see a hole directly above where the fab.cond. tray sits, try poking something in there to clear the jet. i use a cable tie, but a length of wire or cocktail stick will do! a nice easy fix!

Fabric conditioner is taken from the detergent tray by siphon action. Most likely flexible siphon pipe is blocked.power off, Remove machine top, identify the pipe coming from the softener compartment, detach and clean.
