Mend Ryobi CS30 Starter Start Apart

How can I fix my Ryobi CS30 grass trimmer?

When I pull out the starter cord to start my ryobi CS30 it will not rewind. I have taken it apart and put back together again but the same problem exits. Any suggestions.

Ryobi Ryobi CS30 Garden Tools, Grass Trimmers Starter Start Apart

Easy to sort this on the end of a PC......the starter rewind spring will have some sort of hook on each end - one (the outer) locates in the machine housing, the other must hook into the revolving recoil pawl. I guess one of these hooks has broken off. (the hooks are just the spring bent back on itself, usually).
