how do i repair the start button on my dyson dc04?
my start button sometimes won't stay on and i'm nott sure if there isn't a faulty connection or if the starter button is faulty how do i take it apart to have a look what is causing the problem
The switch is held in place by 2 sprung plastic tabs and therefore, whilst the switch pulls upwards out, you first need to press these 2 tabs in. Dyson makes a tool that does just that but you can manage to do it without the tool by sliding a narrow knife blade on both sides of the switch. Once the switch is out, repairing is straight forward.
