merc sprinter limiter....how do i bypass it!!!?

hi,
i recently bought a 53 plate 311 CDI mercedes sprinter for my courier work. unfortunately it has been limited to 68mph. I deliver UK wide and could do with the extra ooomph! Is there any fuse or relay I can safely remove to increase the overall speed or is it more complicated than that? If not, I'm going to have to sell it on.

Hi guys. I deliver sprinter and here's a little trick for you ;). Drive at full speed in 5th dip the clutch count to 3 esp light should come on. Turn ignition back on and bump it... works every time for me.. untill you drop below the limited speed.. then do it again. Hope this helps you guys :)

new merc sprinter have a setting in f file in the ecu unit only a dealer can remove or change it , its software loaded , i have a new 10 plate sorted

hi i just started a new job .the van is a mb sprinter on a 58 plate .swb,and is limited to a very depressing 60mph HELP.anyone no how to turn it up just a little just too i get by artics any info would be great cheers

Im a courrier and got williams deisles to do it, he put it to 161 kmph and charged me £85. small price to pay when i can overtake now ha haha

i have a merc sprinter 311cdi and all the abs lights have come on, the code reader says unidentified numbers 5154 &54f7 any one know???

taki it into a merc dealer, if its a old cdi sprinter just re map max speed limit in cdi ecu,
if its a new styly cdi sprinter you gotta change, dash, controll units ect, it will cost about 1000 pounds

take your sprinter to your local dealer. they can change the speed setting up to 81 mph, by hooking the DRB up to the engine computer.
