Can I find a Toshiba DVD recorder & VCR repair agent in my area?

I have a Toshiba DVD player/recorder,D-VR15SB which will also record video on to disc. Recently the video has ceased to play back clearly and anything copied onto the discs shows the same defects. I must add, these are videos recorded by myself. I have tried the videos in another player and they show none of the jumping about and blurring that I get in my Toshiba. I would like the I.D. of the nearest possible repairer please. (Girvan, South Ayrshire)

I can't help you find a repairer, I'm from north London, but I was interested to see your query because I have exactly the same Toshiba model, just 2 yrs old, with extremely little use, and I have similar problems - the tracking has gone in the video recorder, and the dvd side won't play or record anything. Sounds like this model is a bit of rubbish.
