how can i get the dvd drawer in my liteon 5001 dvd recorder to open seems to be jammed

The front loading belt is stretched. It can be replaced with a pair of tweezers if you could get the drawer open. It is at the front underneath the drawer on two pulleys. This is a common problem and you may struggle to obtain a belt as it is only 16mm diameter.
