Pressure on gauge rises very quickly, has even reached past 4 on several occasions. have to bleed radiator/s twice a day to control pressure. at 1.5/2.0 . Engineer we called didn't seem too worried and did not tell us what could be done or what fault may be. said water would run out of overflow. Anyone know what the problem could be? We run on LPG, does that make a difference?

could be the pressure vessel if it rises when the heating is on, lpg will not effect it. call a decent engineer to pump up ur vessel.

thanks for advice John. Called Engineer, seems it's the heat exchanger that's at fault. Being repaired on Monday.

Make sure that the boiler filling loop tap is completely turned off (maybe the tap is faulty, allowing water to continuously flow into the boiler). It makes no difference that you use LPG.
